Arizona State University’s Biodesign Building C is the latest addition to ASU’s Biodesign Institute Complex, increasing the facility’s overall research space by 188,000 square feet. With multiple scientific research endeavors active within the building, teams are developing the world’s first compact electron laser and conducting neuroscientific research in Alzheimer’s Disease treatment methods.

Comfortable and strategically placed gathering spaces and common areas throughout the building encourage interaction and collaboration among the various disciplines.

Labratory lighting was carefully integrated within bench casework for high-quality, shadow-free task illumination. In crystallography labs, specific wavelengths protect photosensitive experiments.

This project is LEED Platinum and targets a 44% energy reduction compared to existing campus buildings.
